Personal Training and Nutrition Advice From an Athlete and International Student

Hey there! I’m Eric, a Master’s graduate, and a recent international student athlete. I have felt the urge to build a platform to expand the reach of my physical fitness education and support, so figured it was time to chuck this site together. I am a huge proponent of health and fitness, diving deep into the science behind nutrition, training performance, and health improvements that are associated with increased physical activity.

Little educational background quick. I attended the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay for my undergrad, and competed on the NCAA D1 swim program. After graduating with a degree in Human Biology, I decided to do a hop, skip, and a jump across the pond to the United Kingdom, pursuing an MSc in Trauma Science at the University of Birmingham as an honorary Englishman. Having loved my experience there, it has become my goal to return to England to continue my career.

At the current moment, my student athlete and school experience is paired with certifications as a Sports Nutrition Coach (CSNC) and Personal Trainer (CPT), both awarded by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I have no license or doctorate, and I am not legally able to prescribe physical activity or meal plans. Rather, my education puts me in a position to provide advice regarding nutrition decisions, workout routines, and music playlists to contribute to a positive and active lifestyle. I want to help guide people through the journey of fitness regardless of their goals, and shine a light on the importance of healthy lifestyles.
